Call Out : 30th December 2006 - WhangieA full team call out was initiated at 11.46. A Woman in a party of nineteen (Helensburgh Ramblers) were walking along the path towards the Whangie when the casualty, female aged 60, fell and injured her ankle. The first team member to the car park was instructed to head to the casualty. Shortly after, two team members were dispatched to high point to act as a radio relay. Helimed support was requested. With LMRT assistance, the casualty was loaded into the Helimed and casualty airlifted to Glasgow Southern General Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a broken ankle. Stand down was signalled at 12:50 pm.
