Call Out: 17th Oct : Dumgoyne

The Team was contacted at 4.30PM by the Police, with a casualty on Dumgoyne, near Blanefield. A Land Rover was sent from the Rescue Post and went to Dumgoyne. The casualty was discovered just below the steep scree slope, with two Ambulance personnel in attendance. The casualty was evacuated on a MkVII stretcher to the Land Rover. This then took the casualty to the ambulance at Glengoyne Distillery. They were taken to the Western General with a sprained (query fractured) left ankle. The incident was resolved at 6.30PM.
