Call Out : 24th March - Conic Hill

A 44 year old woman, part of a 14 strong walking group walking the West Highland Way had fallen near the summit of Conic hill and injured her ankle.
Enroute to Balmaha the Team were informed that the Helimed would be in attendance. At the carpark, the Police informed the Team Leader that the Helimed had just landed on Conic Hill and that the casualty was being collected by the Helimed crew.
With the news that the casualty was being cared for and also that the remainder of the party were happy in continuing off the hill the Team were stood down.
Subsequently, the Helimed developed a fault and the Royal Navy Sea King from Gannet was dispatched to take the casualty to the Southern General, in Glasgow.
Nineteen members attended the call.
