26th March 2008 – West Highland Way
The team was called out by Central Scotland Police at 21:18 to look for a couple who were experiencing difficulty on the West Highland Way about 3 miles north of the Inversnaid Hotel. The couple were not equipped to stay out overnight and were hoping to arrange accommodation in the Inversnaid Hotel. However, there was no room in the Inn and so they continued, but not having any lighting other than their two mobiles soon found themselves lost in the dark. 15 LMRT members responded.
