Latest NewsWhile the past few weeks have been quiet on the rescue front this does not mean the Team have been any less busy with many other commitments.
A mixed program of four training sessions has covered search management, radio procedures, navigation, spinal injuries, and helicopter protocols amongst other subjects (see photo) in and around our area.

Throughout the year we have many requests to assist with safety cover for events. While there are always more requests than the Team can cope with, the annual program covers a range of races, talks, and open days in between training and rescues. Most recently the Team has held successful fund-raising days at Rangers Football Club and at our Sponsors Ellis Brigham, at Braehead, bringing in vital funding for essential equipment. Last Saturday also saw the Ben Lomond Hill Race which was thankfully free of any major injuries ( The winner managed Rowardennan to the summit and back in a mere 1hr 12min).
