New Command Vehicle LatestThis weeks best news came when our new Ford Transit 4wd arrived at Macrae and Dick, in Stirling.
The new vehicle is the culmination of months of effort and would have been impossible without Ford Commercial UK working above and beyond the call of duty - all made possible by the Robertson Trust donation.
The Transit is the first of its kind in the UK, unseen by most people at Ford, and by any motoring correspondent. Ford diverted this vehicle from its national launch later in the year to help Lomond MRT complete its newest project. Coupled with the efficiency, and generosity of Macrae and Dick, the completion of the van is fast approaching and will make a vital addition to the operating capacity of the Team.
Once the Transit is handed over it will then be passed on to a specialist emergency vehicle fitter to work on the important interior design. More to follow soon...
