Call Out : 1st June Ben VenueOn sunday evening Central Scotland Police alerted the Team at 18:22 to report a walker, returning down the track from the summit of Ben Venue, had heard cries for help in the Gleann Riabhach area around about 3pm. Not having his mobile with him he could not raise the alarm until he reached his car.
He reported cries from 'the South' at the stile where the path enters the forest.

The Team was deployed from Leanach car park.
After an extensive search, by rescuers and a SARDA dog handler, of the reported area nothing was found. With the agreement of the Central Scotland Police the search was stood down at 10.43pm. 27 Team members attended.
