Call Out : 30th August Buchlyvie

Lomond MRT were called by Central Scotland Police and tasked to search for a local farmer missing overnight from his home near Buchlyvie. Reported missing in the morning, the Police conducted a search of the immediate area and outbuildings. When he could not be found Lomond MRT, SARDA and Police Dog Handlers, POLSA search co-ordinators and the Police Helicopter were tasked to search the surrounding land.
The farmer was discovered by Police Helicopter quarter of a mile from home. Air ambulance evacuated the casualty to the Southern General with a suspected broken leg.
The Team were stood down at midday.
