New Vehicle LaunchToday the newest addition to Lomond Mountain Rescue Team was officially unveiled. The unique Search Control Ambulance brings together the latest technology and design in a vehicle that is unique in the UK. Images and a full specification will be posted here and in the gallery in the next few days.
Our thanks go to all the organizations who have kindly donated to the fundraising effort which made the purchase and design the vehicle possible, notably our main sponsor The Robertson Trust for the £30,000 donation that made the project possible. Also to Ford for supplying what is currently the only four wheel drive Transit in the UK ahead of its launch. Please watch this space for a fuller story to come soon.
