Call Out : 8th November Ben Venue

Central Scotland Police contacted the Team with a call out to Bealach Nam Bo, on Ben Venue at just after 5pm. Two walkers, from the Falkirk area, had become lost and disorientated on the rough ground just over the bealach. Whilst they were well equipped in terms of clothing, they did not possess a torch, a map or a compass. The light from their mobile phone screen assisted in guiding in search teams in the dark. The weather had turned fpr the worse and conditions were far from easy. Fifteen team members attended the rescue. The Team were stood down shortley before 10pm
