The Team Leader was contacted by Central Scotland Police to inform the team that two female walkers were stuck on the lower West Highland Way path near to the Ptarmigan Lodge. The rescue boat at Luss had been notified. The Team Leader then liaised with Rescue Boat’s Coxswain and agreed that some mountain rescue personnel would go to Luss and the remainder to rendezvous at Rowardenan. The call-out text was sent at 19:57. Whilst mustering at Luss, news came through that the National Park Authority boat, the Brigadier, had picked up the two walkers. The team was stood down shortly after.
