Call Outs: 2nd January 2010 - Blanefield and KillearnCentral Scotland Police contacted the Team with two simultaneous call outs at 4.38pm, one in Strathblane the other in nearby Killearn. Both incidents involved sledges.
The first call out was a middle aged man with a suspected broken ankle in Horses Field, Strathblane. He was quickly stretchered to a waiting ambulance.
The second accident involved a young boy who had hurt his back when he fell from his sledge in Killearn. The boy had fallen into an awkward dip and the decision was made to take him to hospital by helicopter. RNAS Gannet picked up the casualty and took him onwards to hospital.
The Team was stood down at 5.59pm. 23 Team members attended the incidents
