Call Out: 14th January 2010 - Conic Hill

The Team received a call from Central Scotland Police at 11.20 requesting help to evacuate an injured dog walker from Conic Hill. It was not initially clear as to whether she had broken her leg or wrist but she was definitely on the West Highland Way.

A helicopter was also being sought from RNAS Gannet, which in due course arrived and lifted the injured woman (and her dog) from Conic Hill and transported them to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow. The Team was stood down at 11:47 with 13 team members en route to Balmaha.
