Call Out:  27th May 2010 - DumgoyneCentral Scotland Police contacted the team just after 13:00 to go the aid of a walker who had fallen near the summit of Dumgoyne. The 65 year old male was in a party of four when he slipped on the path and fell and twisted his knee. The walker’s companions then telphoned the Police for help.

The first team member was on scene at just before 14:00. Additional team members arrived with the team vehicles and a stretcher, cas bag, a backrope and splints were taken up the hill to the scene. The casualty was assessed and pain relief administered before being packaged into the stretcher for evacuation. The casualty and his three companions were taken off the hill and the transferred to an awaiting ambulance at 15.20 and then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The stand down text was sent at 15.38. Thirteen team members attended the incident.
