Central Scotland Police contacted the Team Leader at 18:55 requesting the Team to respond to a call for help from a male in difficulty coming off Ben Venue. Contact was made with the casualty and he described his position which pin-pointed his location in the Bealach Nam Bo area, on the southern shore of Loch Katrine. He also indicated that he had a hamstring injury.
The Team Call-Out was sent at 19:05. Whilst the team was responding, CSP Control was again in contact with the Team Leader to say that the male casualty had been safely picked up by boat and that the team was no longer required however another situation had developed near Aberfoyle (see Call-Out: 30-May-2010 (2)).
