Happy Ending for Dog Found on Ptarmigan Ridge

The Team spent Sunday on exercise on Ben Lomond with a Royal Navy Helicopter from RNAS Gannet. During the exercise, a search party high up on the Ptarmigan Ridge came across a ‘lost-looking’ Scotty-dog without its owner. The dog was taken off the hill and enquiries were made at the Rowardennan Hotel to see if anyone had reported their dog missing.

Sure enough, the dog ‘Spikey’ had been lost on the hill the previous day. After a short phone call, arrangements were made for Spikey to be re-united with his delighted owner.
