#CallOut Campsie Fells

Saturday started with the Team providing their annual cover for the Ben Lomond Hill Race.

One hour into the race we were contacted by Police Scotland to inform us our assistance may be required in a search later that day. A number of belongings had been discovered scattered across moorland on the Campsie Fells, near Dumfoyne.

Teams were deployed over the hillside to sweep areas, including Dumgoyne, Dumfoyne and Graham's Cairn, looking for a missing man - identified from the contents of his rucksack. Satisfied that the area had been thoroughly searched the #StandDown was sent at 21.11. 

The Police located the missing man safe and well in Ayrshire the following day.
